  American Black History Program Outline:

The student-focused event was created to be engaging and motivating while learning about black history.  The students will become a part of the program by answering and sharing black history facts. This collaboration between the students and our history will give them the realization that they are special and through self-love, reading, and learning they can become successful community heroes of tomorrow.  The African American Research Library has also joined us in educating our students by providing The Black History Traveling Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit as part of our presentation.

Our mission at the Community Learning Center is to improve the lives of students and their families through education, inspiration and motivational instruction. Our passion and goal are to create positive changes in the attitudes of every student that participates in one of our programs. These pep rallies encourage over 1200 students to not only do well in school, but also to have the determination to become whatever they want to be and to do something positive EVERY DAY.
